Bookish Goodbye
No he hecho mas que descansar desde que llegue. Llevo dias dormitando y retozando, dejandome caer en cuanta superficie mullida he encontrado, y poniendome por fin al corriente en mis posts. Ya me estoy empezando a sentir algo culpable, sobretodo teniendo en cuenta la increible cantidad de cosas que tengo que hacer, pero antes de saltar hay que retroceder para tomar vuelo, no? (bueno, perdonen lo cursi pero todos necesitamos darle epica a nuestras vidas).
Este blog surgio con el expreso proposito de documentar mi viaje a Bosnywash y, ya de regreso, llego el momento de concluirlo; el blog va a seguir online pero no pienso agregar mas entradas. Ya con unos dias de perspectiva me gusta mucho mas el nombre de "Veintitantos dias", pero el titulo y mas importantemente, el dominio, ya estan y no los pienso cambiar.
Algunos (no, mas bien algunas) me han criticado porque hablo demasiado de libros y de esta u otra libreria. Que le vamos a hacer si siempre he sido asi de obseso? Inveteradamente me despido con, ejem, una lista de los libros que compre alla. Se bien que a nadie le sera de mucha utilidad, pero que diablos, este blog es tan para mi como para ustedes y quisiera dejar un registro de cuales fueron las ideas que me interesaban entonces.
Varios libros fueron cosas del momento (no me van a ver a mi rechazando un libro de 3 dolares), pero tambien hay varias gemas por ahi. Para aquellos demasiado flojos para recorrer la lista entera ahi les van los patrones que yo veo: La computacion (e internet) dominan, por mucho, muchisimo la lista de temas, y eso es tal como deberia de ser, son mi vida. Les sigue en importancia el diseño en general y particularmente el diseño de la informacion (dentro del cual ando fascinado con el diseño de interfaces). Sigo con mi locura de la Singularidad, pero tambien compre varios "antidotos" para contrarestar mi tendencia a tecno-utopizar futuros. Estoy en vias de volverme un sexologo (veanse nomas los 2 enormes y excelente compendios que compre). Hay algo de economia (liberal toda), mas bien poca ficcion, y 2 libros de matematicas (uno es magico).
